I wanted to visit all the historical locations in the Western State and that was reason I opted to move to Ahmedabad. But my moving to Gujarat coincided with COVID. And I stayed locked in home during my entire stay there. I missed history! What I found instead Past, was the Present. Staying at home, I had enough opportunity to chat with neighbours, local shopkeepers or fruit sellers. Friendly commoners, like they do in every Indian state, never mind sharing stories. And I found materials for my stories. Hence I am indebted to my once neighbours for these satirical stories I present here.
